Not able to open my session

I can not open my assignment yesterday, when I click on my user and I put my password there is an error message that says: Failed to open session by the user profile .

I am not able to open my session. can some one help me ?

Which operating system you are using ? as you not mention above.

I am using windows Vista.

Non login occurs when the user profile is damaged or when Windows can not access the data.

• Check the integrity of the hard drive by booting from the installation cd of Vista. Choose "Repair" and then open the console. Then type chkdsk c: / f / r (Please note the operation may be lengthy depending on the capacity of the hard disk). Then restart the PC and see if you can access the session in question
  
• Try a system restore to a date prior to the problem.
  
• Check if you can access Safe Mode and you can access this account from this mode. If the account is inaccessible try creating a new administrator account the same in Safe Mode and then check in normal startup that you can access this account. If the account starts in administrator mode you can then copy it to data from the old account before you appropriating the rights of use. The data will be in the old user account in the location C: \ Users \ (user name). Then check that the new account is working normally if so you can then delete the damaged.
