Users Profiles after changing thier login password

Users Profiles after changing thier login password
I have this situation where user when changing their password, upon login they cannot see their profiles. We use local profiles not roaming.

Users need to log out and restart their machines then, their profiles will show as in they get their favourites, their document if they stored any on their desktops. Any ideas please

    thanks in advance

Re: Users Profiles after changing thier login password

Can you please explain what are you trying to say?
If you have changed the password of a profile in windows then to see the changes in password are made or not you have to log off from that profile & login again providing the new password for the same profile!

There is no need to restart your computer!

I hope this helps you! If not please explain us what you are trying to ask so that we can help you better!

once the user change thier password, they can not see thier profile. there is no problem with changing the password. the problem is upon changing the password they loging fine but not to thier profile.
therfore once they restart thier machine and log back in then they will see thier profile, seens kind replication error or something like that

I hope i make sence of what i said

When strange things like that used to happen, I would add the domain account to the local machine in the control panel. Try that with one of the accounts and then have it change the password.

Re: Users Profiles after changing thier login password

when you login it asks for your user name and your passwrod, once you put your old password it prompt you to put your new password. once you do that you login to your profile, in our case user manage to login but they can not see the content of thier profiles

I hope this will make sence
