    In vista how to disable the "scan" the file in a directory ... ?

    Hello

    How to Disable Scanning a folder qd there are many files it take hours to get hand it is super painful, I know that there is a trick but i dont remember anymore..

    Go to Folder Options (alt in a folder) and you should have display down show icons never thumbnails

    I do not think he wants to disable indexing. It is right that the thumbnails do not load every time he opens big folder disable the miniaturization. Nothing to do with indexing. It can disable it will always have the same concern.

    Without going into the registry...

    Must depress and hold down the shift key before and while the player is launched (ie just after the close of the truck and drive until it stops itself). Vista can try a "mini scan" dvd which should last less than 20 seconds even if the DVD contains several hundreds of image files. Vista will then probably you to enable or disable the filter buttons (due to the shift button) you have to say no. may also open a dialog box offering to boost its super scan of death (which takes a lead and I think that the DVD player ) Again, refer to the strings by a non-or " open folder only "or by clicking on the cross to close the dialog box. process is repeated for each new dvd you do not want indexed.
