Where would i get temp files in Windows Xp?

Hello every one,

I would like to know where would i get my temp files in my computer. I have installed windows xp on my system. I don't know much about the computer, so can any one help me to find out my temp files?

You can find temp files in C:/documents and settings/*User*/local settings/Temp

There are two types of temp files which are present in your system.

* First one you can view in your C:\Windows\Temp

* Second one is the Temporary internet files.

These files are little bit harder to find on your system, but you can find it by this way C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

You can delete these folder easily without having any problem.

There is also another way by which you can find out your temp files.

Just click on your Start Button--> Then Select Run, in that type %temp%, & temp and press enter key. Now, you will be able to view your temp file easily.
