To solve the problem, it is enough to force Vista to behave in a more conventional:

• Open the command prompt mode "Administrator" (from "Start" menu, type CMD and confirm by [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Enter].
  
  
• Enter the netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel = disabled
  
  
• Validate by [Enter]
  
  
• The problem should not occur.
  
  
• If you continue to encounter difficulties about copying files, it will look elsewhere for the cause of your problems.

Note: You can always go back to standard Vista setup by entering the netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel = normal
