random shut down and blue screen

is there anybody who can help me?

reinstall the latest drivers and download from the manufacturer .

well, i did try to reinstal few diferent drivers from official site of asus, bdw my system is
asus p5q pro
intel core2duo E8500
and ram evo geil one 1066 mhz 4gb kit

so far i find out that its problem with LAN ATHEROS L1E Driver as it shows in my attachments, if it is only this. Its take from 4 to 7 hours utill reset happens, and it is annoying, i have aslo try to change the OS, but its the same problem, one os was vista black edition 32 bit and the second is ultimate 32 bit, with the same problem, on my earlier hardware both versions work fine, they were tested.

I have manage to save 2 diferent BCCode d1

Hi, micmitja to Frankly tell you your lan card drivers are guilty for this problem. the drivers atheros is providing is extremely unstable with Vista unless you install updated version of drivers (if provided by atheros) your problem may not be solved. Here a link to download drivers for your Atheros lan card.
Download the drivers install it and still problem persist then unfortunately you would have to switch back to windows XP.

well i try, i have install the letest driver from Atheros "AR81FamilyWinSetup_1.0.0.39_WHQL" and the bluescreen happen even faster didnt last two hours, any other idea, have anybody fix, or solve this problem at all.

yesterday i have buy a new network card for 5€ , uninstall atheros driver, and this is the end of bluescreen problem, i really hope so. Now the system is running 12 hour + without problem, untill now it last max 7h. Now i can only hope that some day, they will create proper driver that actually work.

So replacing the NIC card seems to be the only options ? or I have other alternatives.

You can try if the latest drivers fix anything, otherwise you dont have alternative, at least none that i woult know.

I've tried many versions, including the latest and the less latest.. but I still get BSOD.. Maybe I should try them all! lol
It's quite a bunch of crap this network card!
If I can't solve this problem I won't buy anything from that brand, ever!
