XP Password

so, im using BitDefender as my backup software and when i go to schedule time back ups...it asks me which user i want to run to do the backups...since i only have one user i try leaving it set to "use current user" but it ask for the password....but i dont have one... is there a way to tell it there is no password? or is my only option to create a password?

How to Schedule Backups in Windows XP

Instructions:

Step 1: Log onto your computer running the Windows XP operating system. Open Windwos Backup by going to Start--All Programs--Accessories--System Tools--Backup. This will the Backup or Restore Wizard. The Wizard is a simple but powerful piece of software that will guide you through all of the different options you can use, or you can click the Advanced Mode link and set up the backups manually.

Step2: Click the "Backup" or "Restore Wizard" screen and then click "Next" to continue with the process. Choose "Back Up Files And Settings" and click "Next."

Step3: Choose what you want to back up. Choices will include "My Documents and Settings," "Everyone's documents and settings," "All information on this computer," or "Let me choose what to back up." If you're new to the process, choose one of the defaults. You can always change your preferences later.

Step4: Confirm the backup type and the destination, following the prompts on the screen, and give the backup file a name (with the .BKP extension. You can use the Browse button to select where you'll keep the backup. Possible choices include a floppy drive, a CD or DVD burner or a network drive. Click "Next" and then choose the type of backup. If you're unsure, choose Normal.

Step5: Click "Next" and choose your backup options: Verify Data, Hardware Compression and Disable Volume Shadow Copy. Click Next, then choose to replace the current backup file--if it exists--or append the data to the end of the backup. Click Next and then choose when to run the backup by clicking the Set Schedule button. You'll also get the option to choose how often you want to run backups. Make your choice, click "OK" and then "Next."

Step6: You'll be prompted for a username and password to run the backup. Choose something you'll remember, write it down, review the information on the confirmation page and click "Finish."
