    Arcserve SQL Logon

    Good morning all,

I have been getting the following problem but don't seem to be able to find what is corsing it.

My application log file is getting filled up in two days, I have found that the following information event keeps getting logged every 5 seconds.

    Source: MSSQLSERVER
    User: backup
    Event ID: 17055
    Description
    18453
Login succeeded for user "domain/backup" connection trusted.

I have gone through the Arcserve config and cannot seem to find anything that I can adjust to reduce the frequence of the happening.

I think this might be a heartbeat/keep alive connection.

I not sure if it is my backup software doing this or SQL, but my server is Windows 2003 enterprise, Arcserve R11.5 SP2, SQL 2000.

Any help would be greatly received.

    Thanks

Usually Event Id: 17055 Description: 18453 are success audit for backup and log in generated by your SQL server. Are you getting audit flags for information or success? However you can change it by setting the audit level in SQL Server for only Failure in order to generate the entry in log file for only failures and not for successes.
