How to cut & paste complete operating system on another drive?

    Hi,
I have my windows XP installed on it.
recently i bought a new larger Hard Disk for me. I don't want to use the old HDD anymore & use it as a storage for media files only. I don't want to install a fresh copy on this new HDD. Can i simply cut+pest entire Operating System on this new Hard Disk? Do you guys think this is possible?
    Thanks

Yes you can but you need a hard drive cloner because simply copying the files won't work. Has to be a sector by sector copy.
    For example XXclone
Norton Ghost is also a great software!
