Gigabyte HD 7850 Fan problem

I am using Gigabyte HD 7850 (model no. GV-R785OC-2GD) graphics card with me. The problem with this card is that it stops at anytime and fan will also stop spinning. After that the whole computer will stop responding and I am forced to do a hard reset of my computer. Can anyone tell me how do I solve this problems. Thanks

Where did you buy your video card from? If it is under warranty then I will suggest you to send it back to them and get a replacement for this video card. Also, apart from this, can you tell us how much Power Supply you are using with your computer System. If the power supply is of low quality then it could be possible that the graphics card is not getting enough power to run.

I was using this Gigabyte HD 7850 video card and I have faced too much of problems with it. Whenever I play any high end games then I will get white pixel distortion on the screen along with drivers failing once or twice. I only get a maximum of 50-60 fps and even after installing different drivers there is no change. At full load the temperature rises upto 58° C, which is not bad though.

Can you try to flash the BIOS version of the video card to the latest one. There is a tool called ATI Winflash which can be used for updating the BIOS of the graphics card and it can also backup the bios as well. Note that this program will work only with Radeon GPUs and not Nvidia GPUs. After updating the bios check whether you are still facing the problem or not.
