How to update Office 2000 to SR-1

If anyone is using Office 2000 then they can update it to SR-1, you all might be aware that Office 2000 is no longer supported by Microsoft but you can still update Office 2000 to SR-1 following below workarounds:

Google out o2ksr1a.exe and download it, once you get it you will be able to downloaded rest of update files from the Microsoft server.
If you are not getting any site for downloading o2ksr1a.exe then you can Google out full install file: O2ksr1adl.exe and download that. There are some non-official sites providing download for it.

Another thing i wanted to share is that once you update your Office 2000 to SR-1 successfully , you can get all other update from here.

My system hard disk failed a week ago and since then i am installing all my previous stuffs. Today when i was restoring Office2000 to its previous state (SR3) none of the updates were getting installed. I did not had any issues in installing them previously. So i was going through some forums for help and came across this thread. I have just registered on this forum to say thanks to you, i have followed your suggestion and have updated Office2000 to SR3 after updating it to SR-1.
