I was thinking of uninstalling office professional 2003 and upgrading to 2007 but while uninstalling it asks me for pro11.msi file. I have checked out for that file in my system but i am not able to get it anywhere. Any ideas where i am going wrong?

The missing PRO11.MSI file might be in installation disk of office professional 2003. If you are having the cd then insert it, click "ok" for the error and point the uninstaller to installation folder and proceed with uninstallation. Just try out what i have suggested and post back if you have any further query.
I am getting same error message while installing an update for Office Professional 2003. I have made a search in my system and i have found one Office Pro msi in C:\WINDOWS\Installer\20f634.msi but when i am pointing it to installed then it is not getting accepted. I am not having Office installation CD, i have misplaced it somewhere, so is it possible to get rid of this error and proceed with installtion without any issues??
I have come across below article while checking out for your issue, just try out the workarounds mentioned there for locating msi file and see if you are getting nay help form that.
Locate missing .msi files
My laptop came pre- installed with windows vista and Office 2003 and currently i am getting same error message when i am trying to use document image under MS office 2003. I am having MS office 2003 installation disc but even though when i am pointing the installer to that file it keeps on telling me to insert installation disk again. I dot know what to do further, any help regrading this will be appreciated.
