"Program too big to fit in memory" error when installing Office 2003 under XP Pro VM

As my titles say I am facing problem while installing Office 2003 on XP Pro running on Virtual machine. Let me explain in details. I have installed Xp pro using VM on a Vista computer and all these are working fine without any problem. But when I try installing Office on the same, it gives me an error message stating “Program too big to fit into memory”. Let me tell you that I have allocated 784 MB RAM to Xp running on VM and dint made any changes in the DOS. For a change I tried running DOS on XP VM manually and run the Office setup.exe but yet it gives me the same error.

Furthermore I also installing it in compatibility mode to windows 2K, also changed it resolution to minimum (800x640) but still the same error. I think it wont let me install unless I provide it more RAM. But the problem is I don’t know how can I more unconventional memory under XP VM. Please help.

I have did exactly the same thing earlier but there wasn’t any problem in my case. In yoiur description you haven’t mentioned anywhere that you have ran the Virtual Machine as Admin. Did you ? If not, do it now. I was running my VM as an administrator and hence I think there was no such error in my case.
