Local Installation Source Tool for Office 2007

Does Local Installation Source Tool is available in Microsoft Office 2007. I am not able to locate this is additional component. I tried to find information on this in many places but it is available I think. I want to remove MSECache folder. It is created by PowrePoint 2003 viewer. The folder appeared only when I had installed and if I try to delete the same manually then there are chances that it might crash or fail. It would be of great help if this really works in my system.

Not it is not available in Microsoft Office 2007. And also it is better if you give up the idea of removing that MSOCache folder. Because this is not at all option. It is created and used by Office 2007. If you remove it will give more errors. While in Microsoft Office 2003 there was option available to get rid of the same. Office 2007 use this folder as the location installation source. It is used by it to repair itself in case of any failure.

I found the download this folder on official website. I had downloaded and use it for Office 2003. I am not sure that it will work for 2007 or not. But you can give a try. There are quiet informative Microsoft KB articles that you can simply read and find information on this. How it exactly works.
