I got a new laptop about a month ago from my office that came with Vista RTM and Office Trail 2007 pre-installed. Yesterday I bought a full version of Office 2007 Ultimate but before I install I read on various forums saying we should remove TRAIL totally from the system before we install the purchased office. But seems like my TRIAL version don’t want to get rid of my computer. Whenever I try to remove, it gives me an error saying
“Setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your system administrator.”
Later I thought to overwrite the existing installation but by running the setup from C:\ProgramFiles\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\. But still getting the same error. Later I thought to run MSIEXEC by MsiExec.exe /X{91120000-0014-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}, it came up with error saying
“Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.”
I’m tiered and ran out of idea. Any suggestion please ?
