setup cannot find proofing.en.us/proof.fr/proof.msi

I am trying to install Office Enterprises 2007 on my system since last 2 days but yet unsuccessful. When I start the installation it runs for about 2 mints and suddenly shows me an error saying something like this:

“Setup cannot find proofing.en.us/proof.fr/proof.msi. Browse to a valid installation source and click ok”

I search the proofing file and it was right in my installation disk. But still when I point the installation to this file, it says “Invalid location”. Now I don’t have any idea how to fix it. Any advice from you all ?

Even I don’t know what could be the problem but I have solved a similar problem months ago on my system. What I did was copied the entire CD content and paste din a folder on my D Drive. Ran the setup.exe from right there and installation went smoothly. You should try out but before that I’ll suggest you to run disk cleanup once, restart the system, login with Admin rights and try the same.

Are you systems updated with all security patches? If not, that could be one of the problems. Simply run Windows update and try out installation again.
