Cannot install Office 2003 on Windows 7

I am testing Windows 2007. It is the beta edition that I had installed. I have Windows Vista also on the second partition. Now when I try to install Office 2003, I am getting a error. It says some Windows installer is not working or failed. I had tried to run the setup through different compatibly settings but still it does not work. While the same edition of Office 2003 work well in Windows Vista. Does installing Office 2007 will fix the problem. I think Office 2003 is not compatible with Windows 7.

That is actually not the right answer. Office 2003 works in Windows 7, but if you had made your mind to install Office 2007 then it will be far more better. Your setup might be corrupted. If you are getting the same error on Windows 7, then it is better you must run Windows Update or simply upgrade the installer. This is going to help you much.
