What is a basic format of LETTER OF SPONSORSHIP FOR VISA APPLICATION

How do i write a letter of sponsorship for a visa application to the uk for my girlfriend giving details of salary etc and provision of support during her stay. I am using Microsoft Office and does not found any template for the same. I am looking for Word format.

Google will give you much better help. You can not only find the format but also the actual process how it all works. There are readymade forms that you can download, fill up and apply. There are many websites and depends on your country you can visit the official government site for more information.

I do find it amazing the scope of knowledge (non-excel related) from contributors in the excel newsgroups. I guess it's a comment on how prevalent excel is.
