Eureka! '11- International Business Plan Competition launching on 1st Sept

The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay presents Eureka! 2011- International Business Plan Competition. It has been Asia's largest b-plan competition for the last 10 years, with total prizes worth INR 2.4 million for this year. The teams get a chance to get intensive mentoring and feedback from leading corporates & entrepreneurs, legal & financial consultancy and an online platform to get solutions to their queries. The best teams get a chance to pitch in front of Angel Investors and may receive on the spot funding.
A special award for Technology and Sustainable Development category of INR 3,00,000.

Eureka! Social:
The B-Plans which cater to BoP’ s (Bottom of Pyramid) and/or environment are participating separately this year. The revenue model of the business plan should be self sustainable.
The mentors, judges and resources in Eureka! Social will be specific to Social Ventures, with the timeline being the same as Eureka!.The top 3 winners will get direct entry to Dell Social Innovation Competition, organized jointly by The University of Texas and Dell. Apart from that, there shall also be Incubation Opportunity at Villigro, UnLtd India and funding Opportunity at Grameen Creative Lab for the winners.

"You can submit any query regarding your b-plan just by tweeting to @ecell_iitb. Your query will then get answered by our expert panel of experienced entrepreneurs and VCs through our ‘Tweet-your-doubt’ campaign within a span of few days."

The Last Date for submission of Plans is 4th October, 2011.

Thanks for the information, but can you tell us whether we have to be from some company and as a working employee to participate in this competition or can we participate alone without any firm relationship? Is this related in legal & financial consultancy terms only does it also supports people from technology kind of things as well.
