Chevrolet Beat release date in india and technical specs

Hello, I wanted to know whether Chevrolet Beat is released in india or is it still postponed. My brother was planning to buy a new car for the upcoming new year, sort of like new year resolution to him. If it is released then can anyone tell me its cost, in terms of ex-showroom price on-road price. Also, if possible then can anyone give me the technical specifications of Chevrolet Beat car. What is its autonomy and per mileage average. Thank you

The Chevrolet Beat has been launched by the General Motors and this car was suppose to launch in June 2009 but is now extended to a January release date. These Chevrolet Beat car is code named as M300 and will be produced in GM’s new plant in Talegaon, Maharashtra. It is made on a similar concept of Spark car with more powerful technology.

These latest model of Chevrolet Beat car turns out to be a 4-door hatchback car with the lighter, smaller and cheaper model. It will be powered by 1.0L and 1.2L four-cylinder engines and it will be introduced in India on 4 Januar 2010 by General Motors in India at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010. The Cost of this latest model from Chevrolet will be priced at 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs rupess only.

The petrol version of Chevy Beat is going to be introduced on the 5th of January, 2010. Although there are some speculations that it has a market range in cost terms @ in between 4-5 lakhs, the price of this car has not being announced till yet by General Motors. One can expect that this petrol version can be priced at Rs. 50,000 lesser than Chevrolet U-VA model version car.
