    Hey!
I am not sure but i read somewhere that connect two different metal wire from both end. now cut on wire from center. Now there would be two junction of wires. Put one junction on the candle flame and the other junction in a beaker full of ice... The difference in temperature makes the electrons motions and electricity is produced... But too little current with a larger apparatus...! All the best...1

You can use this too :

Use an array of solar cells, positioned around the outside of a candle. As shown in the illustration, an array of eight 2.0cm X 2.5cm solar cells could generate about 20 milliwatts of power from the light produced by a single candle flame. This is only half that produced by the thermopile method but does produce a much higher voltage. Someone suggested that some calcium oxide (lime) held in the candle flame might increase the amount of light produced and thus improve the energy conversion. This method had been used back in the 1800s to boost the light from gas powered lamps. The term “lime light” came from this technique.

    Hi

I was recently forwarded a .wmv (@2 min. long) of an experiment for young children in which 2 candles, 2 nails, a magnet, and 2 alligator clip leads. The nails go into the candles (not through them). The magnet is rubbed onto each nail, magnetizing them. The leads are attached to the nail and to 1 lead on a flashlight bulb. The other lead is attached to the bulb to complete the circuit. Light the candles and the light turns on. It can also be attached to a small 3V DC motor, which will operate when the candles are lit. You can also use a multimeter to measure the current.

My problem is a viable explanation of the process which can be related in simple terms to elementary age school children. It works beautifully, but they want to know HOW and WHY.

If anyone wants a copy of this .wmv, let me know and I can get it to you.

    i heard about it
it s supposed to be like this... um you know the thing... well, the thing thats....
anyways, i also read in some health article that it can be very unsafe and dangerous if done without safeguards. so make sure you take every mesure before doing anything.

you do know i have no idea what im talking about right? so dont listen to me
