    D-Link switch is managed

Is the switch managed one or they are unmanaged?

    1. Yes, an IP address must be assigned to any computer. However, you can assign it either by manually or by DHCP enabled device.

    2. It is not receiving because the server to which the computer is trying to establish a connection is unable to find your computer on the network.

    3. Yes definitely, you need to configure the switch first and then only you can assign an IP address to each computer.
