problem with installing avg 8 anti-virus

Hi,

After uninstalling avg free version 7.5, tried to install Avg 8.0 but it gives the error files.dat while installing. I have deactivated firewall then also its giving me error.

The downloaded file is corrupted. It happens, just download a new one and try again.

try using other antivirus such as McAfee, Avira,Norton,etc. Avira is a better program than AVG anyway.
