How to remain untraced through vpn connection

There are few websites which are blocked in my office. I am not allowed to use them. I want to unlock those site. I have a separate cabin where I sit. Now last time I was using a vpn software on my pc. It was installed by my friend. But somehow the IT guy came to know that it is my pc. I want some way through which I can remain untraced on the local network. Each pc here is having a static IP address. And I cannot change that.

It is weird to find that you got traced. Well vpn can only help you to hide your ip on the web. Now when you use that a log is maintained that can reveal your exiting IP address. There can be certain lan monitoring tool on the network which are scanning the vpn application. That is why you got traced. Even if you use proxy the logs are maintained. So the best thing you can do is skip using vpn and follow rules.

You have to go with something called as IP spoofing. This will confuse the IT guy. IP Spoofing hide your real IP and create a virtual one. The detail only remains in your pc. Then through that you can connect to a vpn network. Create a vpn in your pc itself. Jut keep the IP and other details with you and when you are not using the connection delete it. Then you can access the sites easily and it will be hard to locate you.
