The simplest way is to buy genuine software instead of crack. I had seen people to save money they download the OS and many other software from torrent. This Os already has a vulnerability in them. Which create a big issue later on. Keep your system updated always. Never use keygens on your pc. Use a good security tool. A good antivirus which can give you powerful protection from all corners. This will be costly but effective.

If you are having a good antivirus then it is more easy to stop this things. Many people add key loggers in your pc. This works in the background and upload all the password online. This are then misused. If you have a good antivirus then it is not easy for anyone to get the password. The security tools block it. Do not allow people to add anything in your pc. Keep the firewall always on. Scan your system every week for threats.

Applying good security policies are the best way to prevent things. If you use a windows server environment with proper login stuff then you wont face any issue. You must use gpo to restrict access to people to install software or any thing in the system. Criminals carry scripts and files which they execute from public computer and cause such issue. You can prevent that by gpo by restricting any software installation.

The best way to control things is through monitoring. There are various monitoring tools available on the web. This tool will scan your entire network and will give a log report at the end. If there is any suspicious activity you can track that person. Always maintain a book from where you can record any person who is using your internet connection. This are all required stuff to maintain proper reputation of your place.

Today it is a bit strict for cyber cafe to maintain proper standard. If you go with poor maintenance then there are chances that it will shutdown soon. Cops regularly visit the cafes in-order to check what is going on. Being a public pc it is easier for people to communicate and create havoc. Now here you have to take care that you must be using genuine windows with all updates. Do not use pirated tools. This spread virus.

There are different things which are considered under CyberCrime. IT is not just restricted to mails or downloaded. There can be people who misuse your internet connection for bad practice. It is good that if you are having a windows server environment then there are many things you can keep secure. But if you are not having a proper setup then it is complicated to track anything. You must take help from experts.

Most of the time wrong things happen when people left to logout their logins. So here the first thing you need is awareness. You must tell the people or guide them to logout when they leave. Or you must enable private browsing in all browsers. This will not track history or passwords. Through router you can configure certain policies which will restrict certain domains and keywords. Through which you can prevent various things.

The best way is to purchase a licensed anti virus & as others have very rightly pointed out..always keep your firewall on. And restrict any unnecessary software installation. Try licensed av's like kaspersky or quick heal or avast...make sure you go in for the paid versions.

To sum it all up..use an original OS, original and licensed AV (you can purchase Norton, quick heal, kaspersky) & have a strong firewall to stop people from downloading harmful stuff. This should be enough to give adequate protection to your systems.
