Can you try to download and install the Dell System Software from here. Also install Intel HM67 Express Chipset Family from here and install Wistron USB3.0-Host Controller from here and then check if the network adapter comes back or not.

What antivirus or firewall software have you installed in your computer? Check if they are not blocking the network adapter in anyways. Can you try to go to Start >> control panel >> networking and sharing center >> click on your connection >> click on properties. Look for TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6, then click on properties and then check mark the boc where it says you to show internet icon in quick launch bar.

There's no Antivirus at all, and I've disabled the firewall.
There's no such option like that in Network connection, and the connection icon already is not appearing.

Can you try to boot in safe mode and then uninstall the NIC from the device manager and then remove the NIC for any other cards that you have as well. After that reinstall the NIC only from the CD/DVD that you have got with the motherboard box, it has all the required drivers. After that install the drivers and then restart the pc and check if that is working for you.
Please do not send me Emails or Private Messages for personal support. Last time I checked, there were still only 24 hours in a day. Thank you.

Try clearing CMO'S and see if it shows up, you can try out the simplest method of clearing cmos:
    • Turn off your system, unplug the power cord
    • Take out the battery from the board, wait for a minute
    • Re-seat the battery, plug the power cord and restart your system

If it doesn't shows up after that than you can try updating your BIOS, make sure that you are updating it to the latest available.
