    Best Wi-fi Router-modem within Rs. 2000

I am looking after a modem cum router for broadband, I’ll be having single wired connection to it for my desktop and other devices will connect to it via wifi. I want to get a cheap one, one within 2k. I am aware of some brands and have check out some of their products but most of them were out of my budget. So is there anyone who can suggest me some good Wi-fi Router -modem within 2k??

Check out ‘TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N”, you can get it for Rs. 1725 from flipkart. One of my friend has bought it recently and it works great. It can handle up to 300Mbps wireless speed ideal for interruption sensitive applications. It has 2 antennas for increasing wireless robustness and stability. You can check out its complete features and specification at its official site. I think that this will be best deal for you within your budget.

I will suggest you to better get “D-Link D-Link DSL-2750U Wireless N ADSL2+ 4-Port Wi-Fi Router” . It will cost you just 500 rs upon your budget. I have been using D-Link product from a long time and I have never faced any issue with them. I think they are most reliable seller routers and modems in market. It’s Latest ADSL2/2+ standard can provide Internet transmission of up to 24 Mbps downstream, 1 Mbps upstream, it’s quite ideal for high-speed wireless connections and is compatible with 802.11n/g/b wireless devices as well. It comes up with Firewall protection, user access control, WPA/WPA2 wireless security, and priority queues.

I have recently bought “Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router With Modem” for Rs. 2208. It is quite user-friendly and is quite easy to set up on our Local Area Network (LAN). It is integrated with Live Parental Controls including flexible and customizable filter settings. One can use this feature for monitoring websites accessed by family members. You can also use it for blocking websites with unsafe or adult content for your kids. You can also create Virtual Private Network (VPN) and access data on networks which you can access. It has convenient power and Wi-Fi button on rear panel and it is one of the most secure way of sharing high-speed Internet connection for surfing, email etc.

    • Easy installation process
    • Frequency of 2.4 GHz
    • Network Address Translation (NAT) technology
