How do I remove Security Shield Virus from my PC?

I am using Windows 7 and my computer just got infected by the Security Shield Virus.. I can still run all my programs very well, I tried running Malwarebytes too but it did not detect any virus. I did check for ways to remove it but I don’t really find it safe enough to download random, unknown programs

Can someone tell me how to manually remove this virus? Or what is a safe software to download that will remove it.

I would recommend you to download some reliable remover from a trusted source and do it in an automated format. However, if you want to go ahead with the manual removal part, the following are the basic steps to it:

    1. delete Security Shield files in OS:
    2. stop Security Shield processes:
    3. remove Security Shield registry keys:
    4. delete Security Shield DLL files

No mate, I am not willing to make things worse. I can’t rely on any unknown program. I would like you to please start explaining each of the steps you mentioned.

One by one of course, just let me know how do I go ahead.

    2. Once the file is spotted, simply delete it

Your next step is to remove shield registry keys and is quite caution-demanding. If you plan on making any edits to your registry, you definitely must backup your registry first in case anything goes wrong. Be forewarned that a mistake when editing your registry can effect in a computer that no longer boots up.
Procedure to remove Security Shield registry keys:
    1. Go to start> run. an open field appears. Enter "regedit"
    2. To find a register key select the find in the search bar and type any of security shield's registry keys
    3. no sooner than it appears go ahear and delete it by right clicking on it> 'Modify'> delete

Procedure to delete Security Shield DLL files:
    1. to locate the Security Shield DLL, open CMD
    2. enter 'dir' which'll fetch you entire directory. then enter the full directory where SS DLL is located following a 'cd' and space
    3. After locating it, type regsvr32/u DLLName.dll and press enter
