Linksys E3200 DHCP table clears randomly

I don’t know if this issue is for everyone but in my case my E3200 clearing DHCP table randomly. When the table gets cleared, the router hands out duplicate addresses. As far as I know that my router is running latest (1.0.02 build 9 Sep 1, 2011) firmware. It is working find in all way. Any idea about this unique issue?

It is a very unusual issue. The thing is the router should not clear the DHCP table. I don’t know how it is happening. Only way to clear the table is manually. If it is a problem, then once reset the router, once the reset, the routers settings reverts back to default and you have reconfigure the settings again and check for the issue again. Otherwise you need to try re-flashing the router using the same version of firmware.

Previously I watched the DHCP table refreshing every 10 sec or so. It was a normal and regular behavior with my router. It was dropping the client from the table after 240 Sec. The fault is due to the 24 Hour Lease only having 240 Sec lease.

Open DNS is certainly very good to protect against nuisance but that's secondary. In the first line it's about the only devices designed to get access to the Inet. To engage the network at any, can we have a small network hard disk on which are just movies and music and to get any. Only access to the Inet should be reserved for consenting to participate in the operation costs, as it is organized by us in private and no access is urban.

There are more likely to have DHCP problems. My advice, give your router a fixed IP address outside your IP range. So I have it here and have never refused service via http / ftp / telnet or samba. Remove the tick "use DHCP" in your communications setup and complete all other values of course also manually. Save and exit, and your problems would be over.
