How to connect two LANs to a media server

I have installed two broadband connection at the two ends of a large ranch styled house. Out of these two, one is cabled and another is the DSL. now I am thinking to setup a media server such that both the media server will be having access to that and it should at the center of my house. I am not sure that is this is possible and so I am posting this over here. If you can provide me some suggestion then it will be really helpful for me. I will appreaciate each and every reply on this.

If this is just one server then you must make sure that you have added a second nic card into that. I am saying this with the assumption that both the existing lans are not having similar IP. I am sure that this is going to work well without any problem and each lan can connect to the server with the help of its own nic.

I would like to tell you that this is not a good idea to combine the wireless and a media server. If ;'you do that then it is going to interrupt while streaming the videos and so I would never recommend you for this.
