2003 server not accessible via rdc anymore

Hi all ,
I have had a server that streamed via RDC the family films and music etc.. for quite some time now, everyday I log onto the server and make sure all is ok and that nobody has accessed something they should not have. That was up until a couple of days ago when it all of a sudden RDC stopped working . Nothing has changed that I am aware of and I am the only person with Admin rights to both the server and the adjoined pc's .

The server is a 2003 server with windows 7 ultimate pc's on the same network locally, and an xbox360 .

I don't really know what I need to be putting here so if you think you may have a solution maybe you could tell me the info you need Thank you in advance for any advice .

It may be a connectivity problem i think, so can you check whether the server's network card properly installed? It should show up in device manager with no errors if it is. Is TCP/IP installed and configured properly? Can you ping the server's loopback address? Is there a real IP address assigned? Can you ping it from the server?
