Avast is not detecting infection in a keygen

I recently switched to Avast after my pc crashed so here's the deal with this antivirus I download a game that is on the p2p network, which found no viruses or problems with this, was the game "7 wonder II "and the infected file is in the keygen in that I was pretty sure about and the name of the file

    Code:
     FFF-ReflexV2.exe
So I was very disappointed with this product. I even scanned the file but gives it a clean file and my friend AVG Antivirus Business Edition Professional 2011
Detected the trojan virus Generic22.WUB in it hope this product is working well, is there someone who also had the same problem I want to know this, but I'm personally very upset and concerned please answer guys

it is already seen by the VT scan there are a lot of others who also do not detect most of the malware . No security program is 100% detecting the virus I suggest you should sending the sample to avast so that they can take a look on it However, there is the chance of a false positive

but what concern me is that the file is this old and still it fail to detect , it’s really odd that avast does not notice if it has malware

That's really odd however can I ask what was the reason for downloading a key generator? Apart from the legal, moral problem,it also have a high risk of having an unwelcome guest like virus and malware

While it is disappointing that was not detected by avast assuming it is a good detection when some other AV is detected is that many, if generic firms based more prone to detect FP and some only in their method of packing . So this is not a good cut of clear detection.

Hey don’t be panic I have also seen this and there was an article on web that mention The file 'FFF-ReflexV2.exe has been said as to be "false positives". So that means that this file is not malicious however just a false alarm so they have removed the Detection from the virus definition file (VDF) with version: 7.10.9.72.

I don’t feels this is right All the "games-reflexive crack.exe" variants according to my point of view must be marked as PUP / software risk anyway. Also consider what the above post have been mentioned . We are not here to give crackware a certificate of good health or say this that has not been detected so far in the anti-malware or go under the radar, for now. It is unethical In My Opinion

Re: Avast is not detecting infection in a keygen

I have tested that files on malware and it has detected it as a Trojan.Backdoor so this is a software crack, no cracks and keygens assess for safety. They were make with the similar tools make use of to make malware so there regularly FP’s , however the cracks plus keygens which are also malware. This is a general finding that is activate by the creator is used that is mainly used for malware.

Re: Avast is not detecting infection in a keygen

Well the simple answer is that this file is the crack for the game software and as So there is always a security risk linked with it.

    FFF-ReflexV2.exe is Processed as Crack.G

    And as mention above
it has detected it as a Trojan.Backdoor
