Avira Personal 2012 Slowdown my system

Recently, I have installed the Avira Personal 2012 and after that I found that the system on which I am using that slows down my system. I am not able to understand that why it is showing me this problem because it is running without any problem on my friends computer with the same configuration then why it is just happening to me. Anyways, I am thinking to uninstall that and use some other antivirus as I am not able to get it solve. But before doing this, I wish to give this a final try with the help of replies from you people. If you are having any idea or suggestion about this then please let me know that. I will be thankful to all the replies.

I think that you need to reinstall the software and check if that resolves the issue for you. You can also try by lowering the security level of the antivirus as that could also help you in this case.

You will have to disable the security option which is known as Protect files and registry entries from manipulation. To do that, you will have to go to General > Security and once done with that then restart the system and you will find that the issue is resolved.

Try by reinstalling this again in safe mode. I hope that this will solve the problem for you. I was having the similar problem with this earlier and re-installation helps me so I wish it will do the same for you as well.
