According to me there is no such feature available to recover the firmware for Netgear dg632; however I have seen this recovery feature is only possible in Netgear DG834. You should contact some expert to solve these problems. But these problems have the solution. So according to my suggestion you should visit the official site for Netgear and there you can mail this issue. They are going to reply for this.

If you are having the problems for losing the firmware from your Netgear dg632, I have the one solution for this but I have not try this, but you just follow may it help to solve your query, so fin order to get back the firmware for Netgear dg632. You have to search for the factory settings button which is present under your Netgear dg632 it is just beside the power socket. So there you will find a small hole where you have to put some pin or screwdriver or simply you can make the use of toothpick to insert that hole. So with the factory-reset-button you can able to get repair your broken firmware.

Re: Firmware failed to upgrade in Netgear dg632

There is the custom firmware present for your dg632. There are the packages available for your Netgear DG834 you can get this package from rapidshare.com/files/14636844/DG632.ZIP. So if you have downloaded this package then there presents a recovery folder with application “Adam2App.exe”. So first you have to connect with the network and then you have to run that program. After that you will find the new dg632 firmware available in your folder. And finally your router will reset itself and load the entire up your firmware.

First if you want to start DG632 recovery then you have to make some of the change to the network card the following change have to make , change your ‘IP address to 192.168.1.1‘ and ‘subnet address to 255.255.255.255.0’ after that you have to change your ‘gateway to 192.168.1.1’ and finally you have to change your ‘dns1 to 192.168.1.1’. After that you are able to use the recovery kit. You just have to double click on that.

Re: Firmware failed to upgrade in Netgear dg632

Such failure mostly occurs when there is some speed issue over the internet , due to the speed of the internet some file get corrupted, so after the upgrading of the Firmware some of the failure is seen over there. So you have to try once and make sure that no other process should be there while upgrading the Firmware for Netgear dg632.
