    TP-link TL-WN422G in ubuntu

    I want to use this TP-link TL-WN422G Wireless USB Adapter on the laptop. There is an ubuntu OS present on it. I already try to use this adaptor on the ubuntu system but this will not works well. It doesn’t give any response. Is there any way to install it? Thanks in advance.

    It is not supported by the latest kernel used in ubuntu 8.10 and hence this kind of connectivity problem arrives with this system. The system needs the latest kernel version onto it. Hence for solving this problem you need to perform an upgrading the kernel of your system. This will be work and in response this newly installed kernel help to establish this connection with the usb adaptor. Try this and see what happen on it.

    If you already establish the connection with this system then you need to properly execute the command on it. The commands are follows.
    lsusb
    lsmod
    sudo lshw -C network
    iwconfig
    rfkill list all
    The best is to be using this command one by one and it helps to make proper wireless connection. The wifi plays an important role on it.

    You can check to support the standard 802.1n? Standard 802.1n on ubuntu laptop will be establish this wifi connection. Its Maximum transmission rate is up to 300Mbps. This will be assist to connect a wireless lan with no password. Then use this IEEE standard 802.1n for the secure connection. This is the best that can be solve your problem.

    The ubuntu developers don't have a look at packs with drivers and firmware’s. Due to a kernel/driver issue, download rate is slow. Then you need to use the proper installation and the other kinds of task on it. This will be work and it will be help to you for establishing the proper connection on it. The driver of this wireless USB adaptor will be help to properly connect it to the laptop system. Then use the adaptor driver and it work to solve your connectivity problem.

    I unplug it from the computer and if I run lsusb again I will not see the atheros again. Atheros Latest driver for WLAN/WiFI, LAN and Bluetooth for ubuntu help to do this connection. Then you need to reboot this system Try this and see the real performance after that.

    It's so easy and simple! I just upgrade from Ubuntu v 10.10 to latest version 11.04 version. This upgraded task will be providing several inbuilt facility on it. The newest 11.04 version of the ubuntu is to be helps to provide the plug and play facility. This is the latest version of the Ubuntu and it contains several wireless features onto it. It connected instantly on Ubuntu. Try this and make it for solving your own problem.

    If you still can’t able to fix this wireless problem, then you need to use an manual of this USB adaptor. This is the wireless USB adaptor manual specially provide the installation details information. Then you need to read this manual and as per the instructions mentioned on it follow it on your system.
