How does Gateway IP and Location are configured

I am having the WFBS already installed and the location awareness is turned on. IP address is also configured. The gateway for the router is changed and for that reason that I have to change to the physical hardware and as of that the MAC get changed as well. Now I am not able to remove or change the MAC or the IP in any of the possible reasons. If you have any idea regarding this then please let me know that. I will be pleased to all the replies.

Re: How does Gateway IP and Location are configured

I am having multiple systems for the WFBS 6 and all of them are having precise MAC addresses earlier but presently they all are on the SP3 there is only one “All” choice. If I set the Mac address then it changes to “All” every time but this is not what I needed but this can be the solution for you. So you can do the same and tell us that whether this is helpful to you or not. Good Luck….

You might have to modify the gateway IP as well as MAC address intended for the WFBS location awareness as of the configuration file named as ofcscan.ini. To do this, go through the steps below:
    1. Go to the Program Files\Trend Micro\Security Server\PCCSRV from the server.
    2. Use text editor to open ofcscan.ini file.
    3. Look for the "LocationAwarenessProfile_IP0000" which is having the gateway MAC Address and then replace that to right one.
    4. Save that file and then restart Trend Micro Security Server Master Service.
