You should set your network as a switch in hyper-v. You should check the turn os also may use the lan port. The network card in the VPS only after you see the Integration Services installed. In newer systems this happens automatically, with XP, you must manually mount the iso Integration Services. You must download it but it can be difficult if you have no network card in your VPS. I have installed Server 2008 on a physical server, the remote desktop connection works both in local and from "the Internet with a NAT rule in the router.
