    Readynas issue

Hi i am getting a strange issue when backing up my readynas to any external usb, always the same error no matter what file system the external disk is using. its frustrating the hell out of me and netgear have been less then helpful the errors are

" Error encountered copying data from source path ==> /USB_HDD_1//readynas due to unknown reason. Please see log."

    and

    "cp: preserving permissions for '/USB_HDD_1//readynas/./Public"

    Re: Readynas issue

Try to follow the below suggestions to fix this issue that you are facing:

    1. First of all, you need to disconnect any USB drive if currently attached.
    2. After that you have to download and Clean USB Storage addon to your desktop from here
    3. After that try to upload and install this addon in FrontView (RAIDar>Setup) under the System>Update>Local tab. Follow the prompts, reboot the NAS if necessary.
    4. Next, you have to reconnect the USB drive.
    5. Lastly, just try to edit the backup job and set the path to the new USB drive name.
