Configuring Multiple Static IPs on Speedtouch 546 V6 router

Hello friends, I’m having a broadband connection with speed touch 546v6 router and I’m using a various server i.e. web and emails and I’m having windows 2003 operation system. I’m having eight static addresses with an ISP which I can provide website with a different static address. I want to know how to setup my router for multiple static ip. Now I’m using single static ip address in servers with NAT which is having same public static ip address can anyone guide me how to do this.

Hello, even I’m searching for the same and I got a solution hope this will help you. 1st you need to get rid from NAT, and you can setup your router with mask or static ip as same like you do for Ethernet address and assign those static ip address to the server its little difficult. Do you have to create multiple static addresses on a single server? And if you disable NAT then you will not be able to use local ip address and even point static ip.

Its not a big issue you just need to turn off NAT and then assign the ip address to the servers with the net sub mask which is 255.255.255.255 and then you don’t even needed to specify a gateway address . If you want a local area network to host your inter host traffic and that should be remain inside your property then for that you need a three ip address and even a gateway. And after doing all this you give the server net masks which is 255.255.255.248 and then give an address of local area network as a wide area network gateway.

Hello, even I was having the same problem, when I had turn off my NAT then my local ip address redirect me to the router login page from my client pc. So now I had turned it off and then I specify my static ip address in my web browser from my client pc and again I’m redirected to the router login page I had tried everything for it after turning it off but still I’m getting redirected to the router login page. How should I avoid this can anyone help to do so.

Well you can easily configure it having eight ip addresses which mean that subnet mask for your LAN is 255.255.255.248 or let say they are 81.187.191.64 till 81.187.191.71 now .64 and .71 are reserved which you cannot use it and .65 addresses is your route. 1st turn off NAT and now you have to assign ip address which is in between .66 till .70 as you can only use five ip address out of eight wich is -> PC1 : IP = 81.187.191.66, Mask 255.255.255.248, Def. GW = IP of router hope this information may help you a lot.
