How to patch servers manually for software updates

I have a Custom Software Update Agent Configuration Policy to a few of my servers and I want to make it so that the patches are not applied on a schedule, but instead manually. I want to be able to connect to the server and see the patches are ready to be implemented, but I have to click 'Start of the software upgrade cycle "to be installed. He wondered if any of you have ever set update Agent software configuration policy schedule "every 0 days and if this can achieve what I want?

Hello, please follow this and I'm sure this solves the problem. Create a software upgrade policy agent configuration and apply only to the servers. Then create a program to install updates "Once" on 01/01/2050. Or, pick any date you want - just be some time in the future. This will provide your server a "valid" situate the policy and permit you to install updates manually with the link "Starting the software upgrade cycle. Please try this and let me know it will work for you or not thank you.

Hello thank you for your reply I follow all this setting and now I am able to perform this patch stuff without any error. Actually I was making mistakes with the date selection and that was my main issue. Every time I was selecting some wrong date or invalid date. Maybe that’s why I was not able to perform this. But after reading your appropriate solution now I can perform it easily. If you have any more information related to this then please share it with me. Thank you.

To set up patching domain controllers, it would be a clone of the policy and the name - "patch server - Domain Controllers group 1" - or something. Then it adds one of his collections of domain controller in the previous step and timelines. Times in this case are set at two different points. A setting is for when you actually run the review and the other is when you restart the system. You do not desire the time among the two is too far as file modifying are taking place slowly and be able to degrade the system.
