Get “8401,101 and 8504,101” error while start Norton internet security

I have 3 PCs with Norton Internet security 2011. If you leave them motorized for days at a time at a few point the Norton Internet security will not be running. If you after that start again Norton internet security will provide you an error code either 8504,101 0r 8401,101. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. I have contacted tech support on each computer and after that have uninstalled Norton, run power removal, removed registry entries, detached temp files and the trouble at a standstill exists. Every time I go to tech support they attempt something else. The most recent was let’s run chkdsk. Chkdsk did not discover any errors so they told me it fixed a configuration trouble. I told the guy that if chkdsk does not discover any errors they would not admit that. So what to do now?

I don't have an exact solution for this or a suggestion but I am experiencing the exact similar actions by NIS 2011 I have installed a few days before. The just improvement I notice after the TS analyst worked on my PC is that now later than reboot NIS 2011 vanishes after below an hour from the lower right tray. Earlier than that, rebooting would produce the "Error: "8504, 101" emerges on my Norton 2011 product" message and the just way to get it going was to reinstall it. Originally NIS would run for lot of hours earlier than vanishing.

Here I just wish to add something in this case. I don't have the technical knowledge to answer your trouble, but I am certain that soon somebody will come to your support and, if they are not capable to solve the situation, it will arrive at the attention of one of the executives at Symantec, who will inquire the Norton team to fix the trouble. Please be a little patient I am sure you will reach at the root of your problem.

And Trace Level parameter not situated in registry; Default trace level utilized is 32. The "One step ..." support or patch (can't memorize which) just downloaded a bit and asked me to as well download and run the "20110103-001-i32.exe". Let's see if this helps.

Looking at this and some other posts I am beginning to notice a pattern here: we all began having the similar trouble (error code 8504, 101) concerning 4 to 6 weeks before. Norton becomes unfeeling and unrecoverable using typical means, needing a system reboot to restore operation, then, at an arbitrary number of hours later, the trouble re-arises. In my case the "recommended" fix from Norton's One Click Support has been to download a “re-setup" definitions (definitions of what I do not be acquainted with).

I got the similar 8504,101 "unforeseen error has accrued" later than booting my Norton protected computer upon returning from vacation. And they have the Gaul to then charge me to detach it. Next time the computer has been took over in six months. And second time I have been charged! They could discover not anything by the way. Looks the Norton hackers are beating the experts, exactly the similar actions on my Vista 32 PC. NIS 2011 runs occasionally and vanishes at other times. This error code emerges on boot with the tools seeming for a solution to no benefit. Contacting support results in a demand for a fee "for virus removal" and no repair.

I have the similar trouble too. I am getting error code 8504.101 and error code 11006.2 (that one step support classifies as a definitions error and presents a new definition D/L. It didn't assist. I am using windows vista home premium 64 bit. It's an irregular trouble. Uninstalling and reinstalling the product worked for concerning 3 or 4 hours and after that it botched again. I am getting really weary of watching that one end support thing go round and round and just knowing that it ain't going to' work!
