    Information for Cisco Beginners

for every one who have given the cisco certifications and managed to set their foot on the today's monumental structure of net works which in many scenes is necessary for the networks to come up with. here is a thread which i am making for the new bees in the field and who are interested to take up the certifications and to provide guidance to people like me. there are two ways or aspect to/for achieving the certifications provided by cisco. they are network support which is as the title suggest to help in using the already existing network and the other is network design which by all means is nothing more than creating an infrastructure from scratch up to provide better networking capabilities for creating the optimal network solutions.

there are many series of certificates that you can apply for but at cisco you there is a structural based certification system and you will have to work your way up from the beginning there are there fields you can start from they are routing and switching for all of you who want to work in the main stream of the network as we know it today. the second is routing and switching related to the isp. this is a special certification where in you specialize in routing and switching related to the isp's all their required settings. and the third is the wan switching where in you will learn the fundamental of long distance communication using private network/public networks alike in the interest of you perceptive goal. best of luck for choosing the correct field for your self's.

if you wish to specialize a little more in either of the fields there are even more subdivisions avaliable for certifications. in cisco we call them as levels there are three levels the associate level where in you will learn all the fundamental related to networks. there will also be some field specific information. the second level is professional where in you will be certified for all the manager level information that you hold about the fields you enrolled in. and the third but not the last the expert level where in you will specialize on the routers or equipment which cisco manufacturers and will be the best of the best in all countries and networks using cisco products.
