    Windows 7: Dropping "Ethernet" Connection

I am having some problem with my Ethernet connection. Actually my problem is that, the Ethernet connection in my case is keeps on dropping. It happens very frequently whenever I start the torrent, skype, and msn. This is very annoying to me and I don’t know that how can I resolve this issue. I have already tried all the things from my side but all that were just waste of time. If anyone of you know any procedure to resolve this then please let me know about that. I will be thankful to all the replies.

Which Ethernet card are you using? In think that it is the problem with the driver for the Ethernet card. It might be corrupted in your case and that is the reason that you are facing the problems like this. My suggestion to you is to search for the latest driver for it from the manufacturers and install that on your computer. This can solve the problem for you. If it does not solves the problem for you then please reply back so that we can provide you some alternative solution for this.

The most apparent thing to verify first is the torrenting. From my individual knowledge from having to utilize the ISP Verizon's router that is utilizing to bond to them after that you have router which connects to cut off the network. The Verizon router loses the connections every time by means of Azureus. It does not matter that how to put it. I have the newest firmware that does not assist and people protest regarding this through this exacting modem. So possibly attempt switching torrent clients as examination otherwise just do no torrenting and make out if that works as a test.

I am receiving essentially the similar thing. Web service stops arbitrarily. I am currently having the linksys wireless N adapter toward a Linksys N router. Also, include two builtin Lan adapters. Event viewer displays DNS failure that happens equally wired as well as wireless. Resetting of router or DLS modem have no result. Resetting wireless otherwise wired adapter have no outcome. The fix that I have establish is the system restart. The difficulty first began by means of Win 7 beta X64 and has continued to Win 7 RC X64. I did not encompass this difficulty by means of Vista 64. I experience that it is obviously a Windows problem.

Is the firewall active? Do you think that occur at regular intervals, for example, x days after reboot? Maybe a coincidence with the DHCP lease time since my DHCP server administrators? A quick call to the office of your campus IT needs to know how long your DHCP lease time and take it from there. Other than this, you can go to the Control Panel>Network Connections>Lan>Properties>Configure>Advanced>Smart Power Down and from there disable it.

See that what adapter cable into the MB is going to device manager in network adapters. Then go to the manufacturer's website or google adapter. Uninstall cable adapter drivers. Then install the setup.exe or zip / folder, use Device Manager to navigate back to the adapter now has a yellow mark on it (most likely), and select "update driver", specifies the folder, go to the folder and then proceed to install the driver. Then restart, return to the desktop, double tcp/ip4 control options that you have your gateway and DNS server IP matched on the router and should be better ... hopefully ... If not, then you are in the same rickety boat that I can be in.
