hi i would like to ask fi there is a possible way to track users files saved in the shared drive since the user is running out of space.

scenario:

user1 has reported that he has only 200mb left in his shared drive and can no longer exceed that. we have set all users to have 5GB of disk space in the shared drive.

problem:

user1 do not know what files is he going to delete and already forgotten all the files he stored in the server. is there any way to track/detect all his files in the shared drive under his name or login account? any software that can do this?

we are using ms server 2003.

Well I think you can get them back and also delete the same so what you have to do here is that just see whether you are able to get the administrators log in and once you have done the same then you can have access on the accounts made on the server and also you can track the data by using it and keep the one you needed the most and delete the unwanted one.
