Which is the best option for files sharing on mac

I need help to get a better file sharing support on Mac. File sharing is the best way to make my files available on one or more directories across the network. Windows systems have standard devices making it easy to share the files while there is more to work on Mac. The issue is that file sharing can pose security problems because of which there can be issue in future. But that is a latter topic. I am here looking for better support for sharing files. It does not matter whether online, or on the lan between multiple operating systems. Is it possible to integrate iphone also on that. What can I do more here for sharing files on Mac.

It is rather simple. For that you just need to activate Windows Sharing in the Preferences. You must be ab administrator to make this settings work. With the default setting, in your workgroup you can simply add up users. And before that just ensure that the PC is also part of this workgroup so that Mac OS and other system on your network can easily communicate with each other. These settings are sufficient for the Windows desktop if you had any Windows system on your lan. The Mac appears and it allows the sharing of your personal directory and if you identify yourself as a shared printer connected to mac. However, you might want to share a folder other than your home directory and this for all users on your system or even to people who do not identify.

I am using Mac OS X Leopard. File sharing in it has been greatly simplified. Just turn on sharing in System Preferences sharing section. By default, all Macs will appear network directly in the Finder, but it will only access the Public folder. To share another folder or any driver you just need to add the folder for sharing. Click the add button and follow the screen instruction. It is also possible to easily add accounts virtually on this. This is only to access your files which are being shared, even if they have no physical account on your computer. The option button will set the type of sharing. To access the shared folder you can connect using CMD + K and enter the protocol. You can also share the same via remote access. This is also provided in other version of Mac.

For this the best tool I will recommend is Samba. It is an extremely comprehensive server allows many options and fleet management of large machines. While using this software it becomes very easy to go in the Network Neighborhood on other system and then add your files directly. You just need to add your mac system in that and then share your files by using simple copy paste. You can add a folder by Wizard via ip address and share name. Sharing Samba also works in a park in macs or pcs with Linux. It is a very flexible tool for file sharing on Mac and between mac and other operating systems.

Go for BitTorrent. It is an classic and great utility for Peer to peer file sharing. Unlike others, it offers the advantage of sharing only the file that is being downloaded, which allows it to start more quickly. The best part of this tool is that it is extremely easy to use, as its configuration facilitated by a module of effective assistance. If you notice any slowdown, you can still use the encryption of data downloaded, which will significantly improve the transfer speed. The tool is very lite and has multiple operating system support on it. There is not need to have any other additional tool to work with file sharing in this.

The new iPhone operating system, better known as iPhone 4.0 has many new features. One of these new features could be the ability to share or otherwise manage the files on the iPhone from iTunes, and vice verse, to save the file to the iPhone from iTunes. Although there have been some applications for it, the truth is that many users complained of not being able to do it from iTunes, which marks the official application of the device. This new voice, if you want to call came after a photo showing an area where you can share files with Mac, and drag the files to synchronize with the iPhone. It may not be what everyone expected, but at least you will be able to do it from iTunes, much easier to work with file sharing.
