Hello, I would like to create a local network at home which allows me on the way to be able to exchange files (images, movies, openoffice, and so on.) and be able to print a file from any PC. I encompass a netgear DG834GT router and a HP C4400 printer (scanner - printer). The first computer (fixed), is Windows 7, plus next to the router and printer. It is connected to the router through a cable, not like other that are wireless, and as well to the printer cable. The second computer is running ubuntu 10.10. The last two are PC under Windows Vista and windows 7. As a result I would like to, since each PC, on the way to exchange files from Windows to Ubuntu and vice versa, but also print without going through the Internet, thus sending the file to the computer 1 that would send to the printer. I searched a long time on the internet but I did not find anything that might allow me to do all this. Thank you in advance.
