    HTTP Fragus Toolkit Request 1

Today I got a High harshness interruption attempt message: "HTTP Fragus Toolkit Request 1" from NIS2010 stating that the effort was by my personal computer name. I have blanked out my computer name. This occurred while I was running Internet Explorer 8 and browsing my normal home page. I have totally scanned my system and NIS reports completely no security threats. Why is the message signifying that the effort came from my computer and up till now the attacking URL is exterior? Is this probable a false positive? Even though NIS blocked the effort is there any action that I should get? Note that I get two of these messages; they are the same apart from that the port alters from 49478 to 49485. Should I obstruct these ports on my router?

I am in the phone book thus my number is not secret. The telephone call may have been totally unconnected and I believe that they had completely not anything from my PC; it is a novel build from some months before and has had NIS setup from day one with usual full system scans. I think it was few kind of telephone phishing attack that induces a few poor spirits to setup some remote access software and after that they bleep and pillage the PC at will.

I experienced the same attack the recent past, similar information as you report except, certainly, from my personal computer name and IP, and port. Attack detailed to "result from \device\....\firefox.exe". Thus far scan is unhelpful. No obvious change in machine function or response. No phone calls, but after that no landline and protected cell. I look forward to feedback.

Few malware makers have made eliminating malware harder by blocking the sites of well-liked virus removal programs like Symantec and Malware bytes. Thus, utilizing an optional source can stop the program from being blocked. Please make certain to download the accurate program. There are lots of ads on the site so make certain you are downloading malware bytes' antimalware and not few other programs.

It seems as though Norton has done its work in blocking the URL for your computer, by means of Auto Protect / Intrusion Prevention that is excellent. I am going to dig into one of the aggressive URLs; I just require an update first. The cause Norton demonstrates in the info firefox.exe and so on. is that it is utilizing scripts on a website or webpage to load one more webpage in the browser you are running But Norton has blocked it. This sort of thing has occurred in the past with many sites and will persist to occur from time to time.
