How to save linksys wrt54gv5 router firmware before upgrading

Is there a way to save/backup my current firmware on my wrt54gv5 to my hdd before I upgrade (in case I want to downgrade or return to the original firmware)? Or is that a linksys page where I can download other, older (like my original) versions of firmware?

Now most of the routers have advanced features that is they can save the firmware which is been existed. In order to work well you just have to choose the option that is Save the firmware. Check out the user manual of your router. Other than this there is another aspect which you need to work out that is pressing the reset button for less than 10 secs will delete the settings and more than 10 secs will restore it to factory settings that is default.
