Got a stop ox00000019 code need help

I am running Windows XP on my system and have connected one USB Driver to this computer system. Now when i am trying to format a disc on our USB disc drive then I am getting blue screen of death. And the code was stopped at 0x00000019. And when I restored my computer to its original settings then reinstalling the components and router, I got 0x00000020, 0xff454800, 0xff454818, 0x1a030001.

I would like to ask you that are you able to boot your computer system or not or this error occurs after the booting process. And how often you see this error, I suggest you to try booting your system from the Safe Mode which might not show you any such errors. You have to keep on pressing the F8 key at the when your system boots up, This will take you to the Windows Booting Options from where you can choose for Safe Mode to boot your system in the same.

Possibly it could be a driver issue which is not providing the proper support to your USB port as there are no accurate usb drivers installed on your operating system. You can check about the same from the Device Manager as if there are any yellow question marks then you should check the device error code over there as well. Try to check proper reason for such errors.

Even i think that this kind of issue causing due to the drivers problem but still installing the latest drivers does solves your problem then you should get memtest86+ from memtest.org. There are different versions of this program for which you can make a boot floppy or a boot CD. It will be running forever so you have to press ESC key to stop it and rebooting machine at the time when you eject the CD. There are some parts which are reserved by the BIOS on your system, These parts won't be tested by the memtest.

A pool header matter is a trouble with Windows memory allocation. Device driver problems are most likely the common ones, but this can have various reasons together with bad sectors or other disk write problems, and issues with some routers. According to the theory, RAM issues would be suspect for memory pool issues, but still I am not so sure about RAM causing all this kind of problem, So you may check the RAM on your machine as well.

I was having the same issue on my Windows XP system and have seen that this could be causing due to the SONIC DLA which was installed on my XP machine. So I uninstalled the SONIC DLA and then rebooted it again. Now i can install my Western Digital 640 without any problem on my system by using the USB cable. So i think that there should be some incompatibility between SONIC DLA and the Western Digital. I was getting the BAD_POOL_HEADER message with both of these. This has the same effect with an internal DVD-ROM drives.

There is a one more thing which can cause such errors on your Windows Xp machine, Gosted Devices. It has been recommended that you should delete all the Gosted Devices if you get such code errors. Actually when you connect any external drive to your system then it leaves its trace as an External harddisk, as virtual drive. So your system must be having such Ghost Devices on it which might be causing this error.
