Cannot connect to workplace (VPN) with wizard

I have a Windows 7 system in which I am trying create a VPN Connection setup. I want to join my office workspace but the wizard is not able to create a connection. I am able to work on my system. The issue is happened with the Network Sharing center where I am trying to setup a new connection and when I click on New connection then nothing happens after that. The wizard just shows me try again option. Does this connection is secure.

A virtual private network based on a protocol called tunneling protocol (tunneling), that is to say a protocol that allows data from one end of the VPN to be secured by other algorithms cryptography . So it is necessary that first you must check your physical connection and the settings for the systems must be common. Or else you might face issues of no connection.

If you are using a wizard to connect to a network then you must try a manual connection also. If you are done with the wizard then you must try to connect the VPN manually from the list if the same is shown in the Network and Sharing Center. But if the same is not showed then you must need to change you adapter settings. For that you will need to look in the VPN Connection.

Open Network and Sharing center and then right click on the LAN network. There click on properties and then from here you get lots of option to configure your settings as per the VPN Server. I will recommend you to check each settings and configure them. You must here choose encryption form for a better security and tunneling protocol can help you here. The procedure is rather simple here.

When a user needs to access the VPN, the request will be transmitted unencrypted system gateway that will connect to the remote network via a public network infrastructure, and will transmit the application in figures. The remote computer will then provide the data to the VPN server's local network that will transmit the response in figures. A reception on the VPN client user, the data will be decrypted and then sent to the user.

In the the tunnel is used to provide the information between the incoming and exit of the vpn data. And the same way is encrypted so that no one can easily access the same. The data goes from the tunnel and it is necessary that the connection must be established well between the two machine. The element here is called as VPN client element. Configure the VPN server well.

I will advice you to use the automated connection settings. The wizard will help you to create a vpn connection and the same then can be accessed from Network and sharing center. Check the adapter settings there which is quiet important. You can simply right click on the same and adjust the properties. The configuration option may vary as per the settings of VPN server.
